inXpay Promotes Resource Savings with PayItGreenTM Campaign
3 Nov 2009

President & CEO Ken Mathis announced today that inXpay has joined the PayItGreen Alliance. Formed in 2007, the PayItGreen Alliance aims to increase consumer and business awareness of the collective environmental benefits of switching to e-Invoicing and e-Payments.

"inXpay is proud to support this important environmental initiative. The inXpay system, which enables the business-to-business market to send e-Invoices and facilitate e-Payments, contributes greatly to the sustainability of the environment by taking large amounts of paper out of the waste cycle," Mathis commented.

In an email to employees, Mathis outlined a five-point action plan for further reducing the company's carbon footprint. Mathis challenged employees to:
  • Maximize use of public transportation
  • Carpool with colleagues to and from work
  • Adopt layering to avoid energy-intensive swings in office temperature
  • Print only essential documents (i.e., finalized legal contracts)
  • Shut down computers, unplug chargers and turn off lights at night
"inXpay can and must play a role in promoting a greener future for the next generation," the email concluded.
