inXpay Announces Another Checkpoint for Information Security 16 Dec 2009
President & CEO Ken Mathis announced today that inXpay's secure transaction site, home to inXpay's ARManagerSM and APManagerSM, now uses VeriSign Extended Validation Secure Socket Layer Certificates. This additional safeguard against spamming and spoofing has been adopted by 95% of the Fortune 500 and 40 of the world's largest banks.
EV SSL Certificates have the distinct feature of turning the browser navigation bar green, assuring customers that they have entered a secure site. The green bar can be viewed in Internet Explorer 7.0; other browsers display colorization on the right or left.
Mathis commented, "Security must be the top priority in any online business or service. As an industry, we are aware of the need for creative solutions to potential fraud, and adopt measures that are both client-facing and back-end to ensure the highest level of security possible. inXpay will always be on the leading edge of information security."
