Jerry McElhatton
Board Member
Jerry brings more than 40 years experience in global financial services, payments, clearing and settlement systems to inXpay. As President of Virtual Resources, Inc., Jerry counsels clients on developing and implementing cost-reduction strategies, identifying investors for acquisitions, and raising equity. Previously, Jerry served as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board at PRC, LLC, a major provider of BPO services. Jerry also served as President of Global Technology & Operations and Senior Executive Vice President at MasterCard Worldwide from 1994 to 2005. Jerry has also held executive positions at First Republic Bank Services Corporation, Cleveland Trust Company, and Bank One. In addition to his work at inXpay, Jerry serves as a Director of Enterprise Bank and Trust, Trustee of the University of Dallas, and Advisor to the National Council at Washington University's Olin School of Business. Jerry earned a degree in Industrial Management, and attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Western Michigan University Graduate School.
Rocco Maggiotto
Board Member
Rocco brings extensive experience in global financial services to inXpay. Since June 2006, Rocco has been Global Head of Customer Engagement and Distribution Management for Zurich Financial Services. Rocco is responsible for the development and implementation of Zurich's customer and distribution management strategies. Prior to Zurich, Rocco was a Senior Executive Advisor in Booz Allen Hamilton's management consulting business, specializing in finance and risk management, strategic design for client development and integrated client relationship management processes. Rocco has also served as Senior Partner at PwC, Vice Chairman of the former Coopers & Lybrand, and Partner at KPMG Management Consulting. In addition to his work at inXpay, Rocco serves on the Boards of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of New York and the Spenser Foundation. Rocco holds a BA in political science and an MBA in Finance.
Frederick Afragola
Board Member
Frederick "Fred" Afragola brings more than 40 years of business development and banking experience to inXpay. Fred began his career in sales and marketing at the International Silver Company. Fred subsequently rose to President and CEO of Stewart Stamping Company. In 1999, Fred transitioned into banking, serving as President and CEO of New Canaan Bank and Trust Company. In April 2001, Fred founded The Bank of New Canaan. As Chairman, President and CEO of The Bank of New Canaan, Fred managed the capital program, hired the senior management team, and set forth a strategic vision that has made it one of the fastest growing and most respected community banks in the region. In addition to his responsibilities at inXpay, Fred owns and operates Frame Advisors, a business consultancy, and serves on the Boards of Norwalk Hospital, Southern Connecticut State University, and Waveny Care Center. Fred earned a BA from Southern Connecticut State University and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Ken Mathis
Board Member
Ken has over 30 years experience in the payments industry. Prior to launching inXpay, Ken served as Partner and Payments Practice Leader at IBM Global Business Services. Previously, Ken was at the helm of MasterCard Advisors, serving as Chief Growth Officer and Global Practice Leader from 2001-2005. Ken has also held executive positions at Ernst & Young, Coopers and Lybrand (PwC), and KPMG Peat Marwick. In 2006, Ken earned an invitation to serve on the National Automated Clearing House Association's Council for Electronic Billing and Payment, which provides strategic counsel on streamlining payments in the business-to-business space. Ken holds a BBA and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Trish Messina
Board Member
Trish brings 25 years of accounting, auditing, financial reporting, taxation and money management experience to inXpay. Prior to founding inXpay, Trish served as CEO of Cornerstone Asset Management, Inc., which invested retirement assets and prepared tax returns, financial statements and other management reports for 20 corporations, 8 partnerships, and more than 50 individuals. Trish founded Cornerstone after 8 years at KPMG Peat Marwick, where she held various leadership positions in both the audit and consulting departments. Trish also served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations at the Whitby School in Greenwich, CT. Trish holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Tampa and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
